custom Home Warranty: Peace of Mind Built In
Quality That Lasts, Peace of Mind Guaranteed
At Mark Scott Homes, we take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our homes. To ensure your home remains in top condition, we provide a comprehensive home warranty designed to protect your investment and give you peace of mind for years to come.
Our Warranty Coverage
Length of Coverage
Your home warranty is structured in three key phases:
One-Year Warranty – Covers workmanship and materials in your home, ensuring everything meets our high standards.
Two-Year Warranty – Covers mechanical systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
Ten-Year Structural Warranty – Covers major structural components, such as the foundation and framing, to protect against significant defects.
Many products in your home, including appliances, roofing, and windows, also come with manufacturer warranties that may extend beyond our coverage. We will provide you with a detailed warranty packet at closing, outlining each warranty and how to contact manufacturers if needed.
What to Expect After Move-In
We don’t just build your home and walk away—we’re here to ensure it performs as expected. That’s why we have a structured warranty check-in schedule to address any concerns and provide ongoing support.
Scheduled Check-Ins:
✔ Six-Month Check-In – We’ll reach out to see how your home is settling and address any minor issues, such as drywall cracks or adjustments needed due to seasonal changes.
✔ One-Year Check-In – At the one-year mark, we conduct a more thorough review, ensuring everything is functioning properly and discussing any issues covered under your warranty.
✔ Two-Year Check-In – Since your mechanical systems are covered for two years, we’ll check in again to ensure your HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems are performing as they should.
Our team is always available to answer questions and provide guidance, even beyond these scheduled check-ins.
Submitting a Warranty Request
If you experience any warranty-related issues, we make the process simple and stress-free.
Submit a Warranty Request – Use our online warranty request process or contact our service team directly.
Assessment & Scheduling – We’ll review the issue and, if necessary, schedule a visit to evaluate and address it.
Resolution – We’ll coordinate the necessary repairs or adjustments.
Your Responsibility as a Homeowner
While we stand behind our work, regular maintenance is key to keeping your home in top condition. Our Home Maintenance Guide outlines best practices for seasonal maintenance, HVAC servicing, and other homeowner responsibilities to ensure your home remains in excellent shape.
